Women's Health Information Session
Immigrant women in Canada often face linguistic, cultural, and structural barriers in navigating reproductive health care, contributing to delayed screening, unplanned pregnancies, and low health literacy. To address these gaps, Latin medical students partnered with OBGYN faculty at London Health Sciences Centre and Casa Latina to co-design and deliver London’s first bilingual reproductive health education session tailored for Latin American women. This event was organized by Monica Rivero Gutierrez our CALMS co-founder.
